Behind The Brand:
Riley Rogers is the owner and founder of Dorman Property Services and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture candidate at the University of Guelph, one of only 50 students enrolled in Canada’s sole accredited landscape architecture program. With a background rooted in outdoor services and nearly a decade of hands-on experience in grounds maintenance and site operations, Riley’s passion for landscape and outdoor environments has evolved into a practice focused on quality, transparency, and thoughtful design.​

Alongside his entrepreneurial work, Riley is currently gaining professional experience at DIALOG, one of Canada’s leading multidisciplinary design firms. Working within an integrated architecture and engineering environment has expanded his technical and collaborative skill set, exposing him to complex design processes, coordinated documentation, and public-sector project workflows. This experience has strengthened his understanding of how landscape architecture operates within broader municipal, architectural, and planning contexts.

While building and operating Dorman Property Services, Riley recognized the common frustrations clients face when navigating traditional property service models—unclear pricing, inconsistent communication, and unpredictable outcomes. In response, he intentionally shaped the structure and values of the company around honesty, transparency, and dependable workmanship, creating a service model that prioritizes people and long-term trust.

Riley’s academic and professional growth has further been shaped by involvement in municipal-scale projects, including work related to public realm improvements, park design, and site planning for communities such as Stouffville, Scarborough and Guelph. Through this work, he has developed a deeper appreciation for landscape architecture’s role in shaping inclusive, functional, and resilient public spaces.
